Giving back to the community
Collins Real Estate Company launched the Since 1898 Project to empower underserved populations and local businesses in the Charlotte and Triad areas of North Carolina.
The name of the initiative is based on the birth year of the Collins family patriarch, W. C. Collins. He was a Reverend and self-made entrepreneur who taught his children to serve the community with respect and integrity. His tenacity and resolve to overcome adversities were passed on to his son, Bishop F. D. Collins Sr., of High Point Stanton Place Church of God of Prophecy. Inspired by his father and Dr. Martin Luther King, Bishop Collins is an advocate for justice, equality and uplifting others through prayer and action.
Kareem Savill Collins, son of F. D. Collins Sr., is the founder and broker in charge of Collins Real Estate Company, where the mission is to continue their great work by providing access to tools and resources to improve financial resiliency and wealth building through homeownership.
